Hey everyone,

Happy Gregorian New Year! I’m trying out a new format for the free tier today. I hope you like it.

Misseducated is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

I’ve got a lot of ideas for Misseducated for these upcoming months and I would love to get your input. If you could complete this five-minute survey, that would be incredible! Your feedback will help me make Misseducated the best it can be this year.

Thank you in advance, and if anything, let me know how you like the new format!

Lots of love,

Tash

2 Thoughts from Me

1.    “I find "Seize the Day" to be too perfectionist and stressful. Instead I prefer to “Salvage the Day.” You can always take the shit show that this day has been so far, accept your mistakes, and salvage the waking hours you have left.” Link.

2.    "The Future Present is Female." Link.

2 Thoughts from Others

1.    “He was a brave man who first ate an oyster.”

Source: Jonathan Swift, Goodreads.

2.    “Self-compassion is not about judging ourselves positively. Self-compassion is about relating to ourselves kindly, embracing ourselves as we are, flaws and all.”

Source: Kristin Neff, TED talk.

1 Thought For You To Finish

Growing up, each of us had a dream or two. For me, some days I imagined my three siblings and I creating a kids 2000s version of the band, The Corrs. Other days I decided I wanted to be an artist. I would start a new drawing or sticker book, and meticulously place my creations perfectly into the first few pages, before abandoning the project completely.

Finish this sentence:

“As I child I dreamed of…”

Let us know your answer in the comments!

Have a great week,

Tash
